The EXPO through the eyes of Paolo Pettigiani
Who has not visited the EXPO, imagine pavilions made of color, flavors and fragrances. Photographer and graphic designer Paul Pettigiani, he gave a version of the entire staff, giving wonderful shots in which the architecture, the sky and the geometric lines of the buildings are absolute protagonists. Some people define this series almost dreamlike, what is certain is that it is absolutely minimal images that might seem simple graphic designs.
The sky and the buildings in a completely new role, therefore, that the designer has defined: “The sky is perhaps the most important part and is that one thing that unites all my shots. Unlike the buildings the sky is constantly changing and is therefore “him” to establish the perfect time for shooting: the colors of the architecture, shadows, lights and visual contrast are all key parts of my project. “
Expo 2015, a window on the world, has inspired so Pettigiani who told about the project. “It all started from my project” Geometry # 1 “and the passion for photography. I like the images in my buildings are decontextualized from everything that surrounds them and at the Expo 2015 I decided to combine into a single project and unique style architecture from all over the world. “
